When it comes to technology advancements, we seem that every day there is something new and better happening on our planet. Technology Review invited Bill Gates last February to compile this year's Top 10 Breakthrough Technologies .

Smart Cities are a coming trend that will not leave any time soon. But with all of that, can there be a Technological Regression in the United States? When it comes to parking, the US has stopped evolving, leaving parking lots and garage islands throughout the country when there is a technology already in place that can change the space issue.
